Fiber Division
Edge provides all services required for the installation of fiber optic cable. We prepare Out-Side Plant (OSP) and In-Side Plant (ISP) Engineering plans, Utility and Telephone Make-Ready Engineering and all permitting required for aerial or underground installations.
We provide the following services:
Aerial installations (maps, photos, make ready, pole loading and administration and job tracking)
Collect and process field data
Document utility pole information
Buried installations (field the preliminary design, gather any needed GIS data, prepare railroad plans)
Using the Katapult method to obtain field information on the existing utility poles will allow us to keep operations moving more often. While weather conditions can limit what can be gathered in the field, the amount of information that can be gathered during days with preferred weather, allows for a majority of the pole measurements and make-ready analysis to be completed in the office which is not effected by the weather.

We offer full turn-key project management services from coordination with our client for planning costs and timeline, to handling all required database updates, vendor management, accurate and timely updates, through final project deliverables.
Our commitment is to full communications between all vested parties on each project and utilizing experience to address potential hurdles prior to project impact.
Team members have worked with Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and various Wireless design and development companies.
Our team has a full and diverse history of construction management experience with projects ranging from fiber backhaul, antenna modifications, generator upgrades and new installations, through engineering structural analysis’s and construction drawings for new site construction. We focus on safety, integrity, client cost savings and project completion satisfaction for all parties involved.
